Ron Mairano
Managing Partner
Ron Mairano is a distinguished leader in the financial industry, with over 35 years of experience, serving as the President and Managing Partner of Paragon Insurance Holdings LLC. Ron is renowned for his entrepreneurial spirit, successfully co-founding and leading multiple startups in the insurance sector. In 1997, he transformed a startup into a formidable $625MM program writer, a venture that caught the attention of a major industry player resulting in its acquisition in 2001. In 2008, as a co-founder of AIX Group, he played a key role in the sale to Hanover Insurance for an impressive 2X book value. In 2014, he co-founded Paragon Insurance Holdings LLC. This national MGA controls $1.2B in premium across 26 niche programs and employs over 300 insurance professionals across the US. In his current role as Managing Partner of Simsbury Capital, Ron brings his wealth of experience to the dynamic landscape of real estate investment. His strategic leadership and insight into program startups, underwriting, mergers and acquisitions and operational aspects make him a driving force in our success.
